Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: Hybrid (2 days a week in London)
Rate: A highly competitive day rate or salary is available for suitable candidates
Who We're Looking For
We seek an experienced Visual Designer to join our Experience Design team. You will play a pivotal role in bringing our digital experiences to life through compelling storytelling and engaging visuals. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of designers, researchers, and strategists, you'll focus on delivering user-centred solutions. Your passion for design and willingness to learn will be essential as you help identify and solve real customer problems, ensuring we place human needs at the heart of our processes.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Use your creative thinking to simplify complex problems.
- Design production assets, infographics, logos, and various visual elements.
- Create engaging digital experiences and design interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Transform mundane tasks into exciting visual journeys.
- Support the scaling and refinement of our digital design system.
- Utilise storytelling techniques to enhance business communication.
- Bring designs to life using prototyping software (Figma experience required).
- Collaborate within agile teams to define project priorities and visualise outcomes.
- Engage with design teams and communities to align on customer-focused objectives.
- Design and layout pages and User Interfaces, balancing content and UI elements skillfully.
- Ensure designs meet specifications and are accessible to a diverse range of users.
We're Looking For Someone With:
- Demonstrable experience in Visual Design.
- A collaborative mindset, ready to support a busy multidisciplinary team.
- Experience solving visual design challenges and delivering experience-led digital journeys.
- Enthusiasm for bringing visual design to life.
- Understanding of digital design systems and advocacy for accessibility standards.
- Ambition to work collaboratively with a full-stack design team, including Researchers and Interaction Designers.
- Strong ability to see designs through to delivery, ensuring they meet user needs.
