Role: Pest Control Officer

Location: Central london

Must be experienced and must possess a valid driving license

The role:

Is to esure that the area is kept free from rats, mice and other vermin.

Experience:

Operational pest control experience Proficiency in using various information systems and technology Ability to plan, deliver, and coordinate workloads Experience in planning, delivering, and coordinating projects.

Skills:

Excellent communication skills at all levels Capability to work independently in accordance with agreed work programs Strong customer focus Proficient in writing concise reports and maintaining written and computerized records of case work Understanding and commitment to working safely.

More about this role:

To co-ordinate and carry out treatments appropriate to specific task ensuring the most efficient destruction of all pests using approved methods.

To prepare and carry out reports on Investigations, Actions and Visits, to the Assistant Service Manager or, as directed to other council officers.

To keep proper records of work carried out via the Pest Control Team Record and Documentation system and to record and monitor the use of pesticides and equipment via accurate completion of the 'Stock Control Register.

To carry out surveys of sites and premises either originating from a complaint, request for service or as part of a regular inspection programme.

This is an urgent role which requires starting as soon as possible.
