Contract Type: Ongoing Contract
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Salary: £33.00 per hour
Duration: Minimum 3 months, with a strong likelihood of extension
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Ward Pharmacist to join our team in Lewisham, South London. This is a full-time position with an ongoing contract, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in the ward.
- Conduct medication reviews and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and healthcare staff on medication management and safety.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust medications as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous experience working as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
