Accuracy and care are crucial to this role. You will oversee the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy, leading the day-to-day activities of the dispensary. You will be well-versed in the technical aspects of medicine supply while providing exceptional patient care. By guiding and supporting your pharmacy team and collaborating closely with the Pharmacist, you’ll play a key role in expanding our online pharmacy services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will play a critical role in delivering the safe and effective operation of the pharmacy and healthcare business, leading the daily management of the dispensary.

Your Duties Will Include:

Providing safe and effective pharmacy services.
Supplying medicines and devices to patients, whether on prescription or over the counter.
Working with patients to ensure the best possible care.
Assembling medicines for prescriptions.
Providing information to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Managing areas of medicine supply, such as dispensaries.
Supervising other pharmacy staff and participating in their training and development.
Answering customer queries face to face or by phone.
Referring complex problems or queries to the Pharmacist.
Involvement in manufacturing and aseptic dispensing, maintaining facilities for preparing sterile medicines.
Engaging in quality control, procurement, information technology, and clinical trials.

What You’ll Need to Have:

We’re offering an exciting career opportunity to further your professional and pharmacy journey. You will need to have an Pharmacy ACT Technician qualification (or equivalent) and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council to join us.

Beyond experience, we seek individuals with a genuine passion for customer care who will mentor and lead the dispensary team, and collaborate on pharmacy strategies. This job description is subject to modification after mutual agreement based on service needs.
