Job Advertisement: Band 5 Pharmacy Technician - South London
We are currently seeking a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to join a hospital pharmacy team in South London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy dispensary environment. If you have experience working in a hospital setting, that would be great, but hospital experience is not mandatory.
Job Details:
- Role: Band 5 Pharmacy Technician
- Location: South London (Hospital Setting)
- Rate: £18-£22 per hour (depending on experience)
- Contract: 3-6 months
- Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medication
- Supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations
- Ensuring the safe and accurate distribution of medicines to patients
- Carrying out stock management duties and ensuring accuracy in medication distribution
Requirements:
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician (GPhC registered)
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, but not essential
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
