We are currently looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our team to support the recruitment of staff in London primary, secondary and SEND schools. This position is full-time and based in our central London office. The role is offered on a temporary contract basis initially but with the potential for the role to be permanent.

The Role

In this role you will be work alongside our Compliance Manager to ensure teachers and support staff recruited by Philosophy Education have undergone all safer recruitment checks and are compliant to work in schools.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Checking all documents supplied by candidates at registration
  • RDB Database and Access background screening administration
  • Reference chasingRight to work checks
  • DBS checks and administration
  • Preparing compliance paperwork for schools
  • Ongoing update checks
  • Document formatting
  • General administration and office duties

Whilst we are keen to receive applications from candidates with previous experience in compliance and/or recruitment, we are also able to offer training to an exceptional candidate who can demonstrate the following key skills:

Essential qualities for the Compliance Administrator role:

  • Proactive and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a compliance or administration role
  • Experienced and proficient in all MS office products
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • The ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to cope in a busy, pressured environment
  • A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
