Compliance Assistant, London (hybrid). £40,000-£50,000 plus benefits and annual bonusGreat opportunity to further develop your career within Compliance in the insurance market, working for a large UK Broker. You'll join a Compliance Team of 14, supporting a Compliance Manager in dealing with Appointed Representatives, Introducers and third-party partners. You will play a key role in due diligence, monitoring and reporting, ensuring ongoing compliance across the Group.

The role:

  • Conduct due diligence and onboarding for ARs and IARs.
  • Draft and submit FCA applications for ARs/IARs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee risk-based monitoring for ARs/IARs.
  • Conduct Fit & Proper reviews for Approved Persons (SMFs).
  • Collate data for RMAR submissions and reporting.
  • Support the Compliance Manager with various compliance-related projects and audits.

To apply:

  • Previous experience in compliance, preferably gained within the insurance industry or a regulated environment. preferably in broking.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with varying and challenging deadlines.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations, particularly those relating to appointed representatives and third-party relationships.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and with a high degree of flexibility and autonomy.
  • Strong written and oral communication.
