An exclusive estate agency in South West London is recruiting a Compliance Auditor to join their team! You will work in conjunction with the compliance team by compiling and carrying out compliance checks. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional - who may have worked in an administration role within a property company before to join a highly respected, established and sought-after high-end estate agency on an initial 6-month contract. As the Compliance Auditor, you will work with branch administration teams, landlords, and tenants You will be part of the Lettings Audit team, ensuring diligence through compliance checks and by reviewing and implementing new processes and procedures as required when initiating a tenancy.

As the Compliance Auditor, you will

  • Work as part of the Lettings Audit team to conduct thorough compliance checks, ensuring all legal requirements and processes are followed before tenancies begin.
  • Identify and implement updates or new processes to enhance efficiency and maintain compliance standards.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on compliance checks and issues found, organizing follow-ups to address recurring errors and improve accuracy.
  • Improve system data accuracy (e.g., Reapit), identify system development needs, and collaborate with your line manager to implement improvements.
  • Share compliance error trends with management to inform and improve training programs for the team and other departments.
  • Attend meetings to share insights, summarize activities, and maintain regular communication with other departments to drive improvements and ensure smooth operations.

As the Compliance Auditor, you should have

  • 3 years of experience within Property Lettings.
  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems (for example Reapit)
  • Good understanding of finance
  • Excellent ability to build relationships
  • ARLA Propertymark Technical Award is preferred but not essential

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £36,000 p.a. plus excellent benefits which can be discussed on application. This is a 6 month fixed term contract working in the office 9am - 5:30pm.
