Compliance Manager role with leading UK retailer - London or East Midlands base (3 days PW)
Joining the in-house legal team at this much loved high street brand, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the company's legal compliance programs.
You will join a small legal team and report to a hugely supportive GC, helping to drive legal initiatives and compliance efforts across the business.
The remit will be broad and can be shaped to a certain degree around the individual as there is plenty of scope to add value.
You will work alongside the GC to drive culture and standards so you will have gained exposure to most of the following (ideally in the retail, fmcg, supply chain, logistics or similar sector)
- Anti-bribery, anti-slavery, fraud, risk management, ESG, legal ethics, quality standards, EU regulations, KYC, product launches, DP.
- You will be a proactive, highly organised, approachable compliance professional with strong influencing skills and who enjoys educating others
- Enough experience to be able to work autonomously and be the SME across the business
- You may have a legal background (law degree) or a qualified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP)
