Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping the future of telecom? We're hiring a Director of Strategic Planning to play a key role in the Finance & Strategy team. This is a high-impact contract role for our client, where you'll drive long-term business planning and ensure strategic alignment across the organisation.

  • Leading the development of long-range strategic plans
  • Working closely with executive leadership, finance and commercial teams to shape business strategy
  • Analysing market trends, competitive positioning and industry shifts to identify risks and opportunities
  • Overseeing a team of Strategy and Planning Managers, ensuring high-quality insights and execution
  • Developing compelling strategic narratives for shareholders, investors and external stakeholders
  • Implementing robust tracking processes to monitor progress and optimising future plans

Required Expertise:

  • Extensive experience in strategy development, within a Tier 1 telecom or TMT business
  • Deep understanding of UK and international telecom markets, including competitor strategies
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including executive committees and shareholders
  • A proactive, innovative leader with exceptional communication and team management skills.

This is an initial 6 month contract, hybrid working and paid on a daily rate inside IR35.
