Role Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Operational Resilience Specialist to support our Operational Resilience agenda. This role is crucial in executing specific operational resilience activities in preparation for EU regulatory changes, including the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of key risk areas including Cyber, Technology, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Third Party Risk, and Data Management, and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Coordination & Execution: Oversee multiple enhancement initiatives related to regulatory change across different workstreams, focusing on:
    • Implementation of a comprehensive internal service catalogue, identifying critical services and process mapping.
    • Enhancement of customer assurance and audit capabilities concerning resilience.
    • Introduction of resilience-by-design improvements into existing change management processes.
    • Development of a robust business continuity strategy covering technology, cyber, data, and third-party recovery and testing.
    • Integration of data, reporting, and governance considerations into daily operations and the development of new capabilities within current tools.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Divisions and Functions, establishing strong relationships to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in operational resilience; provide knowledge and guidance to facilitate the consistent adoption of new requirements.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Resilience/Operational Resilience or Operational Risk.
  • Proficient knowledge of key resilience-related risks including Third-Party Risk, Data Risk, Cyber Risk, Technology Risk, and Business Continuity Risk.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, manipulation, reporting, and management of analytical tools.
