Panoramic Associates are supporting a Local Authority with the recruitment of an Interim Senior Transformation Programme Manager for a six-month contract and on a full-time basis. This role is based in Greater London and requires hybrid working. The position offers a competitive salary of £600-700 per day (inside IR35), negotiable based on experience.The council's Corporate Strategy, Improvement and Transformation directorate is focused on leading the development and delivery of complex transformation projects, from initial scoping and planning through to final implementation of change and handover. Role:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the most complex strategic projects, working closely with Project Sponsors from across the council.
  • Design and implement project governance and controls to ensure effective delivery and maintain accountability.
  • Ensure project approaches are underpinned by robust business cases that are properly evidenced through research, process mapping, analysis, modelling, and testing.
  • Engage and manage relationships with a significant range of stakeholders, including senior political figures.

Requirements:

  • Significant, proven experience in council-wide corporate improvement and transformation programmes.
  • Extensive experience in Council or Local Authority transformation is essential.
  • Impeccable stakeholder management skills at all levels.
  • Highly attuned political acumen and exceptional project/programme management skills.
