Licensing Compliance Officer - Temp 3 months - £22.36 per hour – Hybrid/HammersmithLocal Authority is seeking a Licensing Compliance Officer to support their Licensing team at their West London offices. This is a temporary position to start ASAP for an initial 3-month period and will pay £22.36 per hour.The Licensing Compliance Officer will be responsible for delivering an efficient, effective and reliable support service to maintain professional and legal standards. They will do this by protecting the health, safety and welfare of residents, businesses, visitors and employees in the borough; working with businesses to help them comply with their legal duties.The ideal Licensing Compliance Officer will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
  • Previous administration experience of working in a similar licensing role
  • Knowledge of The Licensing Act
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Local Authority Governance and processes
  • An interest and motivation to work within in a Regulatory/Law Enforcement setting.
  • Ability to communicate and present information clearly and concisely both verbal and written.
  • Good attention to detail; delivering high standards of customer care and quality services.
  • Good IT skills and proficient in MS Office packages.
  • Ability to display sensitivity and maintain confidentiality.
