This is a flexible, hybrid role, offering the potential to transition to full-time as the firm’s needs expand.You will play a key role in ensuring the firm complies with legal regulations and industry standards, focusing on areas such as GDPR, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Lexcel accreditation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management & GDPR Compliance: Implement and oversee security measures to protect data in line with GDPR regulations.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and the firm’s internal policies and procedures.
  • Lexcel Accreditation: Maintain the firm’s Lexcel accreditation and ensure successful completion of annual assessments.
  • AML Policies & Procedures: Write and update AML policies and ensure they are in compliance with current legislation.
  • Project Management: Lead compliance and operational projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficiency and compliance at all stages.
About You:You are an experienced Compliance Manager with a strong background in law firm compliance, including expertise in GDPR, AML, and accreditations. You will have a deep understanding of legal regulations and experience working within the legal sector, ideally managing compliance frameworks within a law firm. Ideal background in a compliance or practice management focused role.Why Join?
