Planning Manager (1-Year Maternity Cover)

Location: London / Hybrid

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning professional to join an infrastructure specialist in their London team!

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner / Planning Manager to support the UK Head of Planning. The role involves managing planning projects, preparing applications, liaising with internal teams and external consultants, and ensuring compliance with planning regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual and portfolio projects from start to finish.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Manage schedules, track project progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Keep up-to-date with planning regulations and policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • RTPI Chartership ideal but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with various stakeholders including local authorities.
