Our client is an innovative provider of renewable energy solution. We are supporting the search for a Policy Manager to guide policy and regulatory recommendations, and support industry developments in the growing sector. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you'll play a key role in promoting to organisation's profile and the role of new renewable technologies in the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess policy trends and market developments affecting business strategy
  • Represent the organisation at trade and industry events, engaging with key stakeholders and staying updated on sector advancements.
  • Act as the main liaison with policymakers, including government departments, MPs, civil servants, and trade associations
  • Lead, write, and coordinate responses to policy consultations, influencing key industry discussions and regulatory decisions.
  • Keep internal teams informed on policy changes, delivering presentations and webinars to share insights and updates.
  • Produce high-quality articles and thought leadership content on renewables and the UK's progress toward Net Zero.

You'll need:

  • Experience in policy development and stakeholder engagement, or technical leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of renewable energy policy, technologies and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with industry experts.
  • A background in engineering, energy, or environmental sciences is beneficial
