Fresh People are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Coordinator for our client a Fresh Produce Business based in Wimbledonworking 5 days per week, to occasionally include the weekends supporting the Procurement Team to maintain relationships between Growers and operational teams .

The Person

Ideally from Fresh produce with a firm understanding of Fresh produce or Food Manufacturing in this role you will be required to assist the Commercial Managers will all aspects of supply chain so previous procurement , supply chain or sourcing would be an advantage

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Commercial Managers with all aspects of running an effective supply chain
  • Set up Purchase Orders in the Prophet ERP system for all arrivals
  • Build and maintain supplier load plans amending orders as required to maximise service
  • Liaise with growers to confirm volumes, arrival dates & varieties loaded
  • Work closely with the logistics & planning team to maintain accurate stock positions for all products
  • Update and maintain master arrivals data & assist with the preparation of season reviews
  • Provide weekly pricing and costing models in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare grower finalisations & returns as instructed
  • Process fruit cost invoices as directed
  • Work with Commercial and IT departments to identify and deliver process improvements
  • Be part of a weekend rota to facilitate information for the sales, technical and stocks teams
