PRODUCT GOVERNANCE MANAGER

LONDON, LEICESTER OR BEXHILL - HYBRID

UP TO £70,000

Join a leading insurer In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust product governance framework to ensure the delivery of positive consumer outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.

THE ROLE

  • Develop and apply an effective product governance framework for:
    • New product development and changes to existing products.
    • Annual Product Reviews and Value Assessments.
    • Regular monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify risks to consumer outcomes and propose action plans for resolution.
  • Ensure the delivery of positive consumer outcomes and promote activities that prioritize customer best interests.
  • Serve as the "voice of the customer" in business initiatives, safeguarding regulatory compliance and enhancing consumer outcomes.
  • Oversee and coordinate updates to key customer documents through the Policy Wording Forum, ensuring policy wordings (Common Policy Wording) accurately reflect the coverage provided by products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • An insurance practitioner with excellent knowledge of FCA regulations including PROD and ICOBs and the ability to take a pragmatic approach to application.
  • Experience of working within the highly regulated general insurance industry.
