Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Regulatory Co-Ordination Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between the traditional 1st line of defence business operational functions and the 2nd line functions such as Regulation and Compliance. What you'll do:

As a Regulatory Co-Ordination Analyst, your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth operations within our client's Trading division. You will be responsible for providing ongoing analysis, facilitating effective communication between various functions, and assisting in the operation of periodic tasks. Your proactive approach to problem-solving will be crucial in challenging operational arrangements and suggesting enhancements. Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of objectives within the Trading division, including launching new initiatives and trading products. Your commitment to promoting a strong culture of regulatory compliance will be instrumental in fostering first-line ownership in controls' operation.

* Provide ongoing analysis and mapping of regulatory control frameworks within the Trading division* Assist in the operation of periodic and ad-hoc tasks, providing regular updates on workflow and priorities* Facilitate good communication and information flow by coordinating between different functions* Work with internal audit and compliance teams through their internal monitoring programmes* Provide constructive challenge of operational arrangements and processes* Support delivery of objectives within the Trading division, including launch of new initiatives and trading products* Support oversight arrangements relating to administration of benchmarks* Develop training material for new and existing staff* Promote the Regulatory Coordination team function within the business* Monitor developments in the regulatory environment and assist in implementing changes accordingly

What you bring:

As a Regulatory Co-Ordination Analyst, you bring valuable experience or interest in financial market regulations along with knowledge of working within a UK regulated entity. Your background in compliance or regulation will be highly beneficial, as would any knowledge of BMR and MiFID. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate effectively at all levels, while your proactive approach to problem-solving coupled with your organisational skills will ensure you excel in this role.

* Experience or interest in financial market regulations and FCA rules* Knowledge of working within a UK regulated entity such as a bank, trading venue or broker* Compliance or regulatory background is desirable* Knowledge of BMR and MiFID is advantageous* Experience with regulatory audits or compliance reviews is beneficial* Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels* Proactive approach to problem solving with excellent organisation skills
