This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading and fast-growing Audio Visual, IT and Security Consultancy firm that operates mainly in the Built Environment. They specialise in the strategic planning, design, procurement and project management of pioneering AV, IT, Security, Workplace and Intelligent Building systems and are renowned for designing and implementing the industry's leading edge technology solutions. 

Their service portfolio integrates these technologies with high-end construction and fit-out projects in a range of sectors including office and workplace, hospitality, residential and others. You will need to have extensive experience of selling consultancy to project managers within the interior design, architecture, refurb & fit out space. 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Director to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and collaborating with their technology experts to deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and target potential clients within various sectors to expand market presence.

* Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and drive client engagement.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their needs and aligning our services accordingly.

* Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and lead generation efforts.

* Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and risks. *

* Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

* Assist the Bid Management process with fee schedule, proposal and presentation preparation

* Assist in the development of the marketing / communications strategy

* Track and report on sales metrics and provide insights to the senior management team.

Essential Qualifications:

The candidate must have experience of selling in the Built Environment sectors and have extensive contacts with Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers and other key decision makers.

Proven experience in business development or sales - consultancy rather than product/hardware

Strong understanding of technology trends and how they impact businesses.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving targets.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Desirable

Knowledge of the construction / property industry / architectural practices / IT and Audio Visual industries

An interest in Audio Visual / IT / Security technologies

Educated to Degree level
