Working closely with Compliance, Risk, and Legal teams, you'll lead assurance reviews, develop best practices, and ensure adherence to financial regulations across multiple regulated entities.Key Responsibilities-Design & Execute Assurance Frameworks - Develop and implement risk monitoring strategies, ensuring compliance with UK & EU financial regulations.-Lead Investigations & Reviews - Conduct deep-dive assessments of operational processes and control environments, driving improvements through strategic recommendations. Provide strategic advisory support to regulated entities across the UK and EU.-Data-Driven Compliance Testing - Leverage technology, analytics, and automation to enhance assurance processes and efficiency.-Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with senior leaders, auditors, and regulators to ensure best-in-class compliance practices.-Innovation & Process Improvement - Challenge traditional approaches to compliance monitoring, pioneering new methodologies for enhanced regulatory oversight.Who You Are-Financial Services Expertise - Deep understanding of UK/EU financial regulations, including payments, consumer credit, and insurance intermediation.-Audit & Compliance Leadership - Proven experience in Financial Service Compliance or Audit - Assurance, risk monitoring, or compliance testing within a regulated environment.-Analytical & Problem-Solving Mindset - Ability to interpret complex data, develop insights, and implement innovative solutions.-Stakeholder & Team Management - Strong ability to engage with senior leadership while mentoring and guiding assurance teams.-Tech-Savvy & Data-Driven - Proficiency in financial compliance analytics, with a passion for using data to drive decision-making.
