Meraki Talent are working with a leading Asset Manager to help them identify a Senior Compliance Analyst on a 12-month fixed term contract.You will support their regulated entities by contributing to the overall delivery of Conduct Advisory activity – which will include carrying out advisor compliance advisory support to allocated areas of the business.Some of your duties will include:
  • Providing compliance advisory support to the business in respect of one or more asset classes or business areas, including advising on the application of applicable regulatory rules including global compliance policies & procedures.
  • Staying up to date on the latest compliance laws and regulation in order to support business stakeholders in understanding the direct and indirect impacts of any legal or regulatory changes.
  • Ensuring that your activity is focused in order to best deliver risk-based conduct risk and compliance value add activities, whilst remaining curious and proactively identifying additional areas of activity that will bring further business benefit.
  • Assisting in building and managing key relationships with internal and external customers to ensure a deep understanding of Conduct Advisory requirements/activities and the requirement for adherence to policies and procedures.
We are looking for:
  • Previous Compliance advisory experience from an asset management background
  • Previous exposure to direct investment management across asset classes and a good understanding of the end-to-end investment process.
  • A good understanding of UK/EU regulation and of compliance and conduct risk within an investment management environment. Including the ability to swiftly analyse emerging regulation in order to identify impacts
  • Strong communication skills, both in terms of verbal and written communication. This will include the ability to actively engage with stakeholders and deliver technical information concerning conduct risk topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good presentation skills including the ability to articulate and convey complex concepts and ideas to a varied audience in a clear and compelling manner.
