Senior Compliance Manager - Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Senior Compliance Manager will act as an internal compliance consultant for the Group and its subsidiaries. This role, reporting directly to the Head of Compliance in London, focuses on crafting and implementing practical solutions for intricate compliance challenges within various regulatory frameworks. You will collaborate with the Head of Compliance and senior stakeholders to address and resolve complex compliance issues effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop practical solutions for complex compliance issues, considering FCA regulations and other regional requirements.
  • Create detailed implementation plans and ensure key stakeholders are engaged from approval to execution.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive compliance reports to Group Boards and Committees.
  • Attend and present at board and committee meetings, articulating compliance matters and proposed solutions clearly.
  • Promote effective communication and cooperation among different departments and group entities to deliver comprehensive compliance solutions.
  • Tailor communication and presentation skills to explain complex compliance issues in an accessible manner.

Experience needed:

  • Proven experience in an Insurance Brokerage setting.
  • Expertise in providing compliance advice, developing regulatory strategies, and working in an advisory role.
  • Proficient in regulatory reporting with experience presenting reports to board-level audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and research abilities with a task-focused approach.
  • Capable of engaging and collaborating with C-suite executives across multiple organizations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex topics to diverse audiences.
