Demand Planning AnalystHybrid – London
Salary: £50,000 + Bonus
Do you want to play a key role in shaping demand planning and supply chain efficiency for a leading FMCG brand?Are you an analytical and detail-oriented individual with expertise in demand forecasting and S&OP processes?
The Advocate Group are currently representing a globally recognized FMCG brand.We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planner to lead the development of a realistic Demand Plan for the UK & Ireland region, with a 0–24-month planning horizon. You will take full ownership of the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply to drive forecast accuracy and business efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an accurate demand forecast for the UK&I region.
- Drive the S&OP process, ensuring full alignment of demand and supply.
- Monitor demand numbers, ensuring they reflect the most likely outcomes.
- Document and track assumptions behind the demand plan, challenging them when needed.
- Maintain a historical database of sales and marketing activities to measure forecast accuracy.
- Work closely with Supply Planning to communicate demand changes and mitigate risks.
- Support the Co-Packing team with promotional and seasonal execution.
- Assist the Demand Planning Manager with process improvements and best practices.
About You:
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting methods to improve accuracy.
- Excellent understanding of S&OP processes and demand planning principles.
- Experience working cross-functionally with supply chain, sales, and marketing teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions.
- Inquisitive, confident, and able to challenge the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset.
