About Us: SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a highly regarded primary school in Southwark, London. Our partner school is a thriving, two-form entry institution, recognised for its commitment to providing a high-quality education and maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and students.

The Role: We are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join the team full-time for the entire academic year starting in September. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of pupils in a KS1 setting. Unfortunately the school is not able to support an ECT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the development of each student.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant experience in KS1.
  • Demonstrable success in teaching KS1 students, with the ability to differentiate instruction.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
