At Veritas we work with a number of schools across London and the surrounding areas supplying qualified teachers and support staff for for long term, short term, daily supply, and permanent roles. We work with state, private, independent and SEN schools.

We are currently looking for a qualified primary teacher for a full-time intervention role in Year 5 at a primary school in Wandsworth. You will hold QTS or equivilent and have experience working in primary schools. The role is to begin as soon as possible and you must be available to work from 8.15am - 4pm. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who is passionate about making a real difference in students' progress through targeted intervention.

Key responsibilities for Primary Intervention Teacher include:

  • Delivering targeted intervention sessions to groups of students in year 5
  • Supporting students in achieving their learning goals in core subjects
  • Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans and strategies to meet individual needs
  • Tracking and assessing student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents
  • Helping build students' confidince and enthusiasm for learning

To be considered for the role of Primary Intervention Teacher you will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Have good teaching experience in a primary school setting
  • Have high expectations for learning and behaviour
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment
  • Previous experience with intervention programs is desirable but not essential
