We are looking for a passionate and innovative Year 5 teacher to join our team and contribute to the development of our wonderful students starting Feb half term.

THREE form entry, mainstream primary school in Barnet, NW4

OFSTED rated GOOD school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that follow the Curriculum for Year 5
  • Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to help children reach their full potential
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent learning and curiosity

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
  • A genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of young children

Desirable:

  • Experience in differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND or EAL
  • Knowledge of effective strategies for supporting literacy and numeracy development in Year 5
  • Familiarity with current educational trends and best practices
