Roles and responsibilities - Primary teacher - Camden

  • Teach all areas of the primary curriculum
  • Provide guidance and support to a class of primary-aged students
  • Set up a positive learning environment in the classroom by organizing and displaying learning resource
  • Develop, plan, and present lessons that cater to the needs of the entire class range of abilities
  • Present enthusiastic, imaginative presentations to motivate pupils
  • Ensure positive pupil development by preparing and marking work
  • To ensure the safety of pupils and to comply with all school and national policies regarding child protection and safeguarding
  • Plan and coordinate work with other teachers, teaching assistants, and other relevant professionals
  • Organise and participate in school events, outings, and activities, which may take place on weekends or after school
  • Engage parents and school governors
