The Role:We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Primary School Teacher to join our passionate teaching team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, or an ECT, to grow their career in a supportive and collaborative setting. This role includes taking over as a subject lead, with TLR pay enhancements, offering the chance to develop leadership skills while delivering the KS2 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of pupils, providing feedback and support where needed.
  • Lead your subject area, ensuring high standards of curriculum delivery and development.
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
  • Work closely with other teachers and staff members to develop a cohesive and effective teaching approach.
  • Support the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents and carers, providing regular updates on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Leadership potential or experience in leading a subject area is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
