Role Overview:
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to students in Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11). This is an exciting opportunity to work with children in their critical years of academic and social development. You will have the chance to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their best while fostering a love of learning and promoting the values of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to reach their potential.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
  • Create a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment where students feel valued and confident to participate in their learning.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Ensure high standards of behaviour, using effective classroom management strategies to create a focused and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and activities, supporting extracurricular programs and events that enhance students' overall development.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all students at all times, following school policies and best practices.
  • Actively participate in regular staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about working with children and supporting their growth. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, though NQTs and RQTs are also welcome to apply.
