The Role

An experienced YEAR 5 Class Teacher who is hard-working and supportive being responsible for planning and marking for the summer term at the very least.

About the class:

  • A good class size where there is one pupil with a 1:1 support in the class.
  • A team of TAs who work across the school supporting with interventions or lessons depending on needs
  • Good to outstanding behaviour
  • Excellent support from the Senior Team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Utilise effective behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices.

To be successful, the Seniors are seeking:

  • QTS and experience working as a Primary Teacher in UK schools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and confidently manage a classroom as a Primary Teacher.
  • Strong passion for education and inspiring young minds as a Primary Teacher.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Have excellent classroom management skills
