Year 6 Teacher Person Specification:
This role requires a passionate Year 6 Teacher who has been recognised as a 'Good' or better teacher in recent observations and some previous experience in an inner city school. The school wants to see teachers who have a caring teaching approach where no one child is left behind and an ability to create fun, imaginative and engaging lessons. You will be a teacher who can command the class by showing good classroom management practice that bridges the gap of underachievers. You will have the ability to encourage pupils to learn in a meaningful, positive fashion, pushing the boundaries of their own expectations.
About the Year 6 Teacher Role
At this inclusive and creative school, as a Year 6 Teacher, you will be leading a curious Year 6 class of 29 pupils. As a Year 6 Teacher you will be keeping up the school's ethos of a creative classroom is best. You will benefit from the full support from a hardworking and experienced Teaching Assistant. Although probably not involved in your day-to-day duties, the school's invested Head teacher oversees all teaching staff and can offer excellent guidance and career direction.
