Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide support to teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Assist students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, including those with additional needs.
- Prepare classroom materials and create engaging displays to enhance learning.
- Supervise students during lessons, activities, and break times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to promote a positive school culture.
- Participate in training, meetings, and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
What We're Looking For
- A relevant qualification such as CACHE Level 2/3 in Childcare or a Teaching Assistant Certificate.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
- A good understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching practices.
