About the Role
- Position: Supply Primary Teaching Assistant
- Location: Haringey
- Pay: £95+ per day
- Contract: Day-to-Day Supply & Short-Term Roles
- Schedule: Term Time Only, Monday to Friday
- Key Stages: EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
As a Supply Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students across various year groups. This may include working one-to-one or in small groups with children who have additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Primary Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students with varying needs, including additional learning, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Quickly adapt to new settings and build rapport with students and staff.
- Assist with general classroom duties and ensure the smooth running of lessons.
Primary Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For
- Relevant experience or qualifications in supporting children in education.
- Confidence working with children, including those with additional needs.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, with the ability to step into new environments seamlessly.
- An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- The legal right to work in the UK.
