Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Timeplan Education is recruiting a HLTA to lead core lessons in a SEMH Primary school in Ealing. The role will be to teach pre-planned lessons. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH is desirable but not essential. You will be working on a full-time, long-term basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH, and high-functioning Autism and leading pre-planned lessons,
  • Ability to engage and support pupils' learning
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils
  • To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement
  • Strong behaviour management
