Job Title: Supply Teacher – Insight Education

Contract: Temporary, Supply Basis (Part-Time or Full-Time) 
Year Groups: EYFS - Year 6

About the Role

Insight Education is seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Primary School Teachers to support primary schools across North West London, covering year groups from EYFS to Year 6. In this role, you will step into a variety of classroom settings, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities of a Supply Primary School Teacher

• Adapt to Different Environments – Quickly familiarise yourself with new school settings and classroom dynamics.
• Support Student Learning – Provide academic support and guidance to students, ensuring their engagement and progress.
• Follow School Policies – Adhere to school-specific policies, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety guidelines.
• Provide Feedback – Offer constructive feedback to students and staff, ensuring a smooth transition for the regular teacher upon their return.
• Maintain Communication – Keep in regular contact with school staff to report on student progress and any issues that arise.
• Uphold High Standards – Deliver lessons to the best of your ability, maintaining the school’s academic and behavioural standards.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of the UK Curriculum
• Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations.
• A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to working in various school settings.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students quickly.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.
