Insight Education is seeking dedicated and adaptable Supply Nursery Practitioners to support nurseries across West London. In this role, you will step into a variety of nursery settings, providing high-quality instruction and maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the Nursery Practitioner.Â

Key responsibilities of a Supply Nursery Practitioner
- Care and Safety – Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children is a core responsibility for a Nursery Practitioner. This includes a safe and clean environment, addressing any health or safety concerns and supervising children at all times.
- Maintain Classroom Management –Manage behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Adapt to Different Environments –Quickly familiarise yourself with new nursery settings and classroom dynamics.
- Maintain Communication –Keep in regular contact with nursery staff to report on children’s progress and any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent
- Maintaining a professional attitude and a positive mindset, even in challenging situations.
- A flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to working in various nursery settings.
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years environment is desired.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and British Values.
