Salter Grange is partnering with an innovative international Engineering company specialising in Mission-Critical projects across Europe and beyond recruiting aDepartment Commissioning Manager to join a busy division across Mainland Europe.

The idealDepartment Commissioning Manager will have a track record in project delivery and extensive knowledge of complex Mechanical and Electrical systems, preferably in Data Centres.

With a full order book for several years, this role offers significant opportunities for a capableSenior Commissioning Managerto contribute to the growth and expansion of the Business Unit.

Department Commissioning Manager Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all commissioning activities on-site, including planning, management, and project closure.
  • Manage a team of direct reports.
  • Supervise the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
  • Provide regular progress reports internally and externally.
  • Lead weekly commissioning meetings and guide weekly commissioning activities.
  • Facilitate daily whiteboard meetings on commissioning.
  • Attend weekly commissioning meetings with the Main Contractor and clients, reporting weekly progress.
  • Develop the Project commissioning schedule in collaboration with project planners.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of the testing and commissioning workforce using site Labor Allocation Tracker sheets, issued daily.


Department Commissioning Manager Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant technical and Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or industry-recognised qualifications
  • Experience working for a reputable MEP contractor or General Contractor
