This a key Procurement Manager role working for a boutique consultancy who are specialists in strategic, HR, financial and procurement consulting. Their Procurement function has grown quite significantly over the last 18 months meaning the previous person in this role has been promoted to Head of Procurement and they are looking for someone to come in to manage a team of 6-10 reports across 3 Categories including IT and Marketing. It is a leadership role where you will motivate the team and ensure their deadlines are met whilst managing relationships with clients as well as providing progress update reports to the Head of Procurement and other senior stakeholders.
Utilising your leadership, people and stakeholder management skills you will support the team with their own professional development whilst also assisting with more complex negotiations where you are working with clients across multiple categories. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of procurement contracts and a track record of successfully managing a Procurement Team.
