Description
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to Amazon services
- Manage all aspects of the Amazon print account from a UK Sales perspective in liaison with our Sales Operations, M&P, Data and Metadata teams etc.
- Develop, set and communicate Amazon print strategy and oversee implementation with Divisional Specialists
- Maximise online print sales for frontlist, backlist and across author brands through strategic planning with Divisional Specialists
- Maintain a key oversight of onsite availability and stock control through tight collaboration with Divisional Specialists and the Sales Ops team and remove barriers to sales.
- Be the Amazon print and champion of UK Sales to the Divisions and represent online print sales at relevant internal meetings
- Collaborate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve client issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Align sales strategies with company objectives to drive growth
Profile
A successful Senior Account Manager should have:
- Experience of selling to Amazon UK Vendor Central and Advantage
- Excellent communicator who is confident with dealing with people at all levels in person, on the phone and over email/video as necessary
- Proven experience in a similar role within the publishing industry or similar
- Experience of multi-tasking and prioritising a busy work-load with competing demands on your time
- Strong understanding of Amazon services and market trends
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
