Spectrum IT's international London client are actively seeking to recruit a Contract Product Manager to join their busy Online Products Team and play key role in strategy and execution of their e-commerce platform including but not limited to increasing capabilities and customer experience. This will be a hybrid working role requiring 3 days onsite in the central London office per week. Engagement for this initial 6 month contract be via umbrella engagement only.

As the Contract Product Manager you will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer platform aimed at driving sales conversion, company loyalty and overall promote the unique value and brand positioning. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the role will focus on key aspects of the consumer experiences for the brand(s), market(s), or product(s) in a particular Region.

Taking a holistic multi-channel view, you will be an expert in influencing the international vision, strategy, and roadmap while owning the strategy and roadmap for specific consumer experiences within the regional portfolio. The Product Manager will be adept at ensuring the alignment between global, regional, and market/affiliate objectives and delivering key results. Providing analysis and being able to clearly communicate trade-offs and alternate solutions to meet the strategic objectives will be paramount.

To be successful in this role; you will work in close collaboration with regional delivery team(s), to build strong relationships with counterparts in Regional Engineering, Regional Experience Design, Regional Data Science, Brand Product Management, Global Capability Product Management and overall Global Brand teams.

Responsibilities

  • Define and ensure product requirements /objectives take into consideration any unique requirements
  • Seeking support from cross-functional teams at the regional and global level to ultimately advance the priorities that will have the greatest impact
  • Driving an optimized, innovative, and high touch experience
  • Use data to drive decision making and prioritization within the regional portfolio and global feature roadmap
  • Grow a deep knowledge of the consumers who are most impacted by the specific experiences you manage
  • Deeply understand how key consumer segments engage with our digital products and experiences, understanding the distinctions of the region
  • Develop and communicate roadmaps within your portfolio aligned with regional business, regional and global brands, regional and global product management
  • Partner with regional and global teams to embody & help drive digital product strategy
  • Inspire cross functional teams to execute with a sense of urgency
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global digital product and delivery teams in an Agile environment
  • Gain a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business - constraints from marketing, customer service, creative, legal, and privacy are typical examples
  • Collaborate closely with all team members to discover effective solutions
  • Build OKRs to measure success/failure
  • Drive the market OKRs ("Objective Key Results") in partnership with the business
  • Measure KPIs of roadmap initiatives, maturing the decision making and prioritization process
  • Proactively audit the consumer experience journeys most important to your region
  • Drive a "test & learn" environment through education, onsite experimentation, user testing and analysis
  • Consult with digital activation teams on capabilities of existing products and how to leverage these in new and interesting ways


Qualifications

  • Extensive product management experience
  • Deep understanding of eCommerce products, platforms, and technologies Experience in ecommerce / retail based product and/or platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision making
  • Knowledge of human centered design principles
  • Hands-on experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Successful track record with agile methodologies and iterative development processes
  • Superior problem-solving
