Lorien's leading banking client is looking for a Lead Product Owner Lead with a deep understanding of IDEs and virtualised desktop technologies. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of transformative products that redefine how developers and businesses interact with technology.

This role is based in London.

This role will be Via Umbrella.

Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on site.

As the Product Owner Lead, you will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, and delivering solutions that cater to our customers' evolving needs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users, you will shape the product vision and roadmap, ensuring our solutions exceed expectations and align with business goals.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Define and own the product vision and strategy for IDE and virtualised desktop solutions.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, translating them into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly products.
  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and prioritisation meetings to drive efficient product development cycles.
  • Advocate for the end-user experience, ensuring the products deliver exceptional usability and performance.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and support junior product team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with a focus on IDEs or virtualised desktop environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of IDEs, virtualisation technologies, and associated software.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product roadmaps and execute strategies in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern software development workflows.
