Project Manager

My client, a leading Research body based in West London, near Gunnersbury, are looking for a Project Manager to assist them with an upgrade / migration from their Agresso Finance system, which is being sunsetted, to the latest version.

This will be a role that will be well supported by a team of technical specialists and therefore your knowledge of Agresso / Unit4 doesn't have to be extensive, but it would be beneficial if you have been involved in a system upgrade or migration previously.

Your role will involve:

  • Migrating the system from one Azure Platform to another
  • Conduct in depth AS IS / TO BE analysis to understand what configurations have been made to the current system, and what the core dataflows are so that they can be replicated in the upgraded version of the system
  • Holding the supplier to account, managing the 3rd parties and helping to keep them on track
  • Be involved in planning the UAT testing and working on the workflows.
  • Manage the overarching organisation and delivery of the project
  • Manage the Risk Register
  • Manage the Progress of the Project
  • Check the PID is fit for purpose

Personality:

  • This is an incredibly supportive and familial environment but not one blessed with the luxury of lots of financial backing and therefore you must have a "roll the sleeves up" attitude and be happy to get involved in helping get this project over the line, whatever the requirement

Benefits

  • This will give you the opportunity to work on system upgrades, core financial systems at that
  • You will also have a supportive and competent team around you to help get this over the line.

Location

  • This will be 2 days a week (sometimes 1) on-site near Gunnersbury Tube station

This is a project that will likely run until the end of February

If this position appeals then please get in touch ASAP with your profile.

As much as we would like to discuss it with everyone, there are a lot of applicants in the market at the moment, and so we will be prioritising calls to candidates with the most relevant system migration / upgrade experience, and those that have demonstrable experience in their CV that tallies with this requirement.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are at the heart of what we value as an organisation. Boston Hale is an equal opportunities employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability or any other status protected by law.
