Project ManagerContract till February 2026£37,500 - £43,500 based on experienceLondon - 2 days per week in the office Start - Early NovemberAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Manager to join my client who work in the Not-for-Profit space. This is a contract position till February 2026. My client is looking for someone either immediately available or can start early November.Reporting to the Associate Director of Business Operations, you'll work closely with the Executive Team and key leaders across the organisation, overseeing the coordination and delivery of various projects. You'll collaborate with internal departments such as Communications, Research, and Engagement teams, ensuring that all project workstreams align with strategic goals and are delivered on time.Based in London, this role offers flexible hybrid working, with a requirement to be in the office for two days a week. Some UK travel may be required.Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management and delivery of multiple project workstreams, regularly updating project sponsors on progress.
  • Identify challenges and offer solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with project sponsors to address any resource constraints or project dependencies.
  • Support teams in project reporting and ensure documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Create and manage overall project plans, enabling the Executive Team to monitor progress and delivery.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture key learnings and share best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Project Management Office, including chairing fortnightly delivery meetings and updating progress trackers.
  • Take on additional duties as required by the Associate Director of Business Operations.

Person Specification:Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project management, with a good understanding of best practices and project documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information.
  • Proven experience in coordinating teams and stakeholders from various functional areas to meet project objectives.
  • Experience in delivering IT or digital projects (preferably Service Delivery and research projects).
  • Highly organised and detail oriented.
  • A team player with strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and resourceful, with excellent time management skills.
  • A commitment to the organisation's values, particularly in equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience in the not-for-profit or education sectors.
  • Prior experience in managing web development projects.
