Reed Food & FMCG have been briefed to recruit for a Quality Control Technician to join a Food Manufacturing business in North London. Our client is looking for someone who has experience within the food industry and good communication skills to join their team.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician 

Location: North London

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 Per Annum (DOE)

Shifts - Both Day and night shifts available (Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm / 11pm - 7am) 

There is no sponsorship available with this role however the company are open to applications on PSW visas. You will need to have at least 12 months permitted to work.

Candidate specification: 

Must have experience working within the Food Industry

Must be in a commutable distance of North London

Degree in Food Science or similar (preferred)

Good communication skills

Some Key Responsibilities:

Completion of online process audits in line with site audit plan and communicate to relevant personnel

Raw material intake checks in line with site plan and raw material specification

Management of the sites schedule for calibration of equipment used for food safety, quality or legality

Auditing of CCP’s and prerequisites in line with the site audit plan and raising non-conformities as required

GMP and weekly inspections in line with the site audit plan and communication of actions required
