Permanent contract  

Typical shifts; Day shifts – Monday to Friday, 8am – 4:30pm (some flexibility given)

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an award winning commercial bakery.

Due to growth & contract wins, they are looking to strengthen their technical & quality assurance team with an experienced Assistant Technical Manager.

The successful Assistant Technical Manager duties will include;

• Work alongside the technical & quality teams to ensure compliance to regulatory standards
• Be up to speed with current UK & EU food legislation and
• Work with internal departments, stakeholders and 3rd party organisations to ensure that products & packaging meet technical and quality standards 
• Update & manage the QMS to meet BRCGS standards
• Develop & deliver training programmes and lead HACCP objective identifying areas of improvement
• lead new product development and ensure [packaging & product meet spec

Required experience & characteristics of the Assistant Technical Manager;

• At least 2years experience in with company manufacturing a similar product or category (ideally bread or bakery)
• Relevant degree, HACCP level 3
• 1st class communication skills
• Enthusiastic, positive and motivational
• Reliable & conscientious
• Courteous, polite & professional
