Director or Post Production - Post Production/Creative AgencyTemp position - PAYE - competitive day rateHybrid + central London locationThe Director, Post Production is responsible for post production operations in Europe and Middle East local markets and multi-market commercial productions originating outside of the United States. They excel at making sure all projects run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining good relationships and communication internally and externally. They directly manage the day to day execution of post production for commercial multi-market productions and work with market leads and post affiliated staff members in local markets to ensure consistent, reliable post processes. This candidate should be highly organised, able to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, understand the needs of post staff, anticipate upcoming projects, be able to both work hands-on and delegate accordingly, as well as perform well under tight deadlines. Primary Responsibilities:Manage numerous projects from a variety of markets (UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, and Middle East) across several editors, vendors, producers, and clients concurrentlyAssign, schedule, track, and project manage video post production from start to distribution on schedule and on budget; be able to pinpoint any project and deliverable at any time for delivery timing and evaluationCoordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure proper resourcing for every aspect of, and scheduling for every project. Including: offline editing, online editing, color, sound mix, graphics and localisationDetermine and manage resource priorities when creative, deadlines, or other variables shiftCoordinate with global post production teams to ensure successful resourcing, communication, and workflowsWork with department leaders to create documentation and roll out Central Global Video post systems to European and Middle East marketsCollaborate with commercial producers and editors during post production, facilitating notes and providing creative and technical notes as needed. Be a throughline from pre-pro to deliveryEnsure post receives all necessary media and paperwork required to complete productionsReview content throughout the post process; provide quality-control feedback (audio, colour, copy, design) to editors during a project, and provide feedback on edit resources and production to senior post managementSource and hire freelance post resources and post vendors across Europe and the Middle EastProvide frequent, concise, and accurate communication with all stakeholders regarding project delivery, including Scheduling, Video Operations/Publishing, and ProductionGenerate final deliverables including simple tweaks for titles and formatDesired Skills and Qualifications:Post Production experience gained from an advertising agency; media company, post house, media publisher and/or a creative content productions business that has Global experience and experience working across a large number of production simultaneouslyExpert knowledge of post production processes, workflows, and best practices, including scheduling and final deliverablesProven track record of managing client-based commercial post projectsSignificant post freelancer and vendor contacts throughout Europe and the Middle EastExperience creating commercial post-production schedules and budgetsA strong leader and positive team presence, with at least 2 years as a people managerKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects) and project management tools (Airtable) required; experience as an editor a plus Top-notch organisational skills, ability to take direction and give orders as neededWork independently and with teams, able to decipher problems and create solutionsSelf-driven and able to complete tasks with minimal guidance if necessaryAdept at determining priorities and able to hit deadlines; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environmentProductivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver, with the ability to overcome technical challenges as necessaryExperience of working in a global environment and building solid working relationships with stakeholders across different time zones and markets.If you haven't heard back from us within 7 working says it likely you have been unsuccessful this time, please keep an eye on our website for future vacancies www.careermovesgroup.co.uk
