Job Title: Mechanical Site Supervisor / Site Manager
Location: London
About the company: A SME design and build Group company who specialise in high end refurbishments and fit-outs. The M&E division deliver packages for the Group and external clients predominantly within the high-end retail sector.
They require an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee several projects throughout London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the Mechanical installation work on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any changes to the project scope.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to the electrical team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Mechanical Site Supervisor, preferably in the retail fit-out space
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, installation practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications and qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
This is a contract role paying a day rate.
