We are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit a Corporate Performance Programme Manager to develop an improved, insight-led approach to planning and delivering organisational reporting on the council’s strategic delivery plan.

The role is inside IR35 with a flexible day rate, depending on experience.

The role will also require 3 days onsite at the offices in London.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostics and review of current reporting arrangements and rhythm of the current Council Delivery Plan process, including any review of best practice in other local authorities
  • Identification and development of proposals for improvement
  • Develop a new organisational approach for the strategic and future planning of the council delivery plan reporting
  • Create high-quality reporting approaches on the Council Delivery Plan that drives a culture of innovation and curiosity for the team to follow and also provides insight for senior leadership and members to consider

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of Corporate Performance and Strategic Delivery Planning in the strategic corporate centre of a Local Authority
  • Developing Performance Frameworks
  • Experience working in Local Government, particularly with members and senior leadership within a PMO, data analysis, reporting and process improvement environments
  • Developing clear programme governance standards and frameworks
