Role: Programme DirectorSalary/Rate: £ 950 per day (inside IR35) Location: Hybrid multiple locations south UKContract Duration: 12 months

We are currently looking for a Programme Director for our government client. This Programme Director role is hybrid, based between the office, travel to sites in the south of England, and the remainder of the week working remotely. Office locations include central London or Bristol, as preferred.

The contract for the Programme Director position is for 12-months with potential to extend, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check ("SC Clearance")

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Essential skills/experience required:

Prior experience in a Programme Director role within a large, complex transformation programme
Government and/or Defence sector experience
Strong background in ERP implementation, preferably Oracle Fusion
Experience in delivering shared services transformations
Expertise in operating model design and implementation (HR, Finance, Commercial functions)
Demonstrated ability to lead within government or defence sectors (preferred), or comparable complex public sector organisations
Adept at managing and engaging with senior internal and external stakeholders, both written and verbal
Strong people management, coaching, and performance oversight skills
Competent in engaging with technical specialists of Oracle environments

Desirable:

PRINCE2, MSP Practitioner, Agile Project Management Practitioner, APM Project Management Qualification
APM Chartered Project Professional
Project Leadership Programme (PLP) or Major Projects Leadership Academy (MPLA)
Familiarity with analytics tools in HR, Finance, or Commercial domains

Role/Responsibilities:

Leading a high-profile, critical delivery programme within the central corporate services portfolio
Programme includes the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP across Defence
End-to-end delivery responsibility for corporate shared services modernisation
Operating in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with strong strategic importance
Focus on modernising processes and systems in alignment with ERP transformation
Line managing 5-10 directly and 10-20 indirectly
